Freaking finally. We’ve been looking forward to Skulls of the Shogun for literally years. Well the wait is finally almost over as developer 17-Bit has announced the game will be launching on January 30, 2013. It’ll be available on Xbox Live Arcade (1200 MS Points), Windows 8 ($14.99), Windows Surface ($14.99), and Windows Phone ($6.99) all on the same day.

Skulls of the Shogun is a wonderful strategy game featuring a 15-hour plus long campaign, and up to four-player local and online multiplayer. Plus, all four versions will feature asynchronous play, so you can pick up your single-player campaign on any version you own. That goes for the multipalyer too, as you can play against people on any version of the game. Sadly there’s no cross-buy options, but there might be something in the future.
