You can only earn the ship after reaching the Cutthroat rank and purchasing its blueprint for 5,000 Pieces of Eight. For those who have been smuggling run and opium for the rare currency, you’re time is soon. But for the others, you better get to work.

As the ship can only be purchased with Pieces of Eight, logically that means you will find its blueprint as either of the Helm locations in Skull and Bones. And you’d be right. Chat with one of the Nara sisters either at the Pirate Dens — Sainte-Anne or Telok Penjarah — to find the blueprint in the Black Market.

Its cost might take your breath away, coming in at 5,000 Pieces of Eight. But for those who want a powerful DPS ship to carry them into the endgame, the Sumbuk can likely do that with gusto.

Once you purchase the blueprint, take it to the nearest Shipwright. Crafting the ship requires fifteen Greenheart Plank, fifteen Magnetite Ingot, twelve Roselle Cloth, four Wood Tar, four Cogwheels, two Torsion Springs, one Eels’ Twine, and 12,000 Silver. It’s such an expensive ride.

The Pyromaniac Sambuk is DPS-type ship, meaning it exists to dish out damage. Its Perk is ‘Scorched’, which allows it to dish out increased damage when using fire attacks. Here are the details:
