Skull and Bones: All Infamy Ranks

10 Infamy Ranks in total

In Skull and Bones, Infamy Ranks are essentially the level-up system for your character. Pretty much everything you do as a pirate—plunder cities, ambush trade routes, sinking merchant ships—will give you a bit of Infamy. As you accrue more Infamy, you’ll rise through the various Infamy Ranks unlocking more rewards and access to new ships, blueprints, and more. Here are all the Infamy Ranks in Skull and Bones.

Fastest way to increase Infamy Rank in Skull and Bones

The fastest way to increase your Infamy Rank in Skull and Bones is to just keep doing missions. The Main Story missions give a ton of Infamy and Silver, but you can also just pick up as many bounties and tasks as you can at the boards at the Pirate Den. Then, when out on the open sea, try to pirate and plunder as many Merchant Ships as you can, especially if they are lower level and easy to pirate.

These ships not only drop goods but reward you with some Infamy for taking them out. It’s a small amount, but you can quickly accrue a ton of Infamy and, therefore, raise your Infamy Rank by plundering these merchant ships. In this situation, taking out Merchant Ships on the way between missions can quickly increase how fast you are climbing Infamy Ranks.
