Check out the ranking reasons for all Shindo Life Elements below. I’ll go over why some Elements are good for one playstyle but bad for the other. That said, there are some Elements like Cement, Chaos, Order and Acid which are good for pretty much everything.
Shindo Life Element Ranking Reasons
| Element | PVP/PVE Ranking Breakdown |
|---|---|
![]() Earth | PVE Rank: S PVP Rank: C • The second and sixth move do a ton of damage to bosses for farming due to the hitbox • That said, the moves are slow and aren’t suited for PVP so I wouldn’t use it against players • This is because the AOE floor move, unlike Cement, just ragdolls enemies which makes it difficult to combo while Cement stun-locks them |
![]() Cement | PVE Rank: S PVP Rank: S • Basically a better version of Earth • For PVE your best moves are the first and second move which can annihilate bosses during grinding • Unlike Earth, Cement is really good for PVP too due to the guardbreak melee move and the cement floor for bypassing auto-dodges and giving you breathing time to regen chi due to the stun and massive AOE |
![]() ![]() Order & Chaos | PVE Rank: S PVP Rank: S • Just reskinned versions of each other and they are both Meta PVP and PVE • Beam of Light is a point and click ranged block breaker that’s so strong in PVP • Grenade and Shock of Light are also both really strong with Grenade guard breaking at range and Shock being an i-Frame M1 combo extender • All of these moves are really strong in PVE too |
![]() Pyromania | PVE Rank: A PVP Rank: S • Amazing for PVP for both zoning and pressuring with long range moves like the sixth • That said you also have melee moves for combos and the burn damage from Pyromania is realy high |
![]() Acid | PVE Rank: S PVP Rank: A • For PVP it’s quite strong for combo extension and adding DoTs but it’s A since it doesn’t have the best combo starters • One of the best combo extenders is Acid Field when they’re stunned • For PVE you don’t really need combo starters as much and you can fully abuse the massive base and DoT damage against bosses |
![]() Gale | PVE Rank: B PVP Rank: A • Gale is decent for PVE and similar to Wind • That said for PVP with Bloodlines like Bruce Kenichi you can output a ton of pressure through combos • It’s really underrated for PVP if you learn how to do mix-ups |
![]() Ying (+Yang & Gilga Variants) | PVE Rank: B PVP Rank: B for Yin and A for Yang/Gilga • All the variants are fine for PVE • That said for PVP Yang is better than Yin since the blindness effect stuns and you can combo off that really well, especially the bow |
![]() ![]() Shiver & Prism | PVE Rank: C PVP Rank: B • While Lightning is quite slow for PVP, Shiver and Prism are actually decent since they have guardbreaks where Lightning doesn’t • That said, they’re not the best for PVE due to low damage |
