I got spoiled by the last set of Senran Kagura updates, which featured mysterious silhouettes and the invitation to transform them into elephant-faced weirdos. Those were fun. This update? Not so fun. Instead of comedy, we get more big boobed teenage girls. BORING.
The upshot is, there are quite a few screens here that show off more than just the girls’ mams. It’s still hard to tell how fun the game will be to play, but at least they have an interesting scenario going. Fighting giant artists reference dummies in a high school bathroom and using PK StarStorm on a dominatrix is about as good as ideas get in this brand of game.
I’m also loving some of the character designs here, specifically “Willow Raw”; the modestly attired schoolgirl with white hair and an eye-patch who swordfights with a bamboo umbrella. She’s my favorite. Then again, I always thought Velma was way more attractive than Daphne, so maybe I just have weird taste.
