Sadly, those Nintendo costumes will not appear in Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 in the west

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 will arrive next month on 3DS and Vita in the west, but they won’t be bringing along a really cool piece of content on the former platform — Nintendo costumes. In the original Japanese release, you could access these skins, but evidently Siliconera has been told by Koei Tecmo that they aren’t making out out of the country. Bummer!

It’s weird that a deal couldn’t have been struck, especially on a Nintendo-ran system, considering the success of Hyrule Warriors — they probably could have won over some new fans.
