S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has finally gone gold (to the cheers of none)

S.T.A.L.K.E.R., the next generic FPS that you’ll probably forget about a week after having bought it, has finally gone gold, according to Shacknews. This is only monumental due to the fact that the game has been in development for more than half a decade, and that back in the early years of the new century, someone, anyone, might have cared about this title. Of course, back then we were all pounding rocks together to make fire and hunting pterodactyls for our porn.

We could be wrong, though. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. could be the next Halflife, but odds are, it won’t be, and, hopefully, I’ll never have to type that c****** title again.

This game (whose name I refuse to type ever again), should be hitting store shelves soon, and The Robot will be shocked if it manages to break even.
