Rovio bringing Angry Birds over to 3DS

Recommended Videos

Angry Birds is arguably the face of mobile gaming right now, so yes, it’ll be coming to the 3DS courtesy of Rovio. Seems like a smart thing to do, wouldn’t you say?

The original announcement happened on Rovio’s Twitter; let me tell you, these guys can talk. “Wii [presumably still WiiWare] and 3DS later in the year” is what prompted the attention.

When asked for clarification by 3DSFocus, Rovio said it “would bring all three current Angry Birds games over,” and that the preferred method of release is through “downloads and digital distribution on all platforms.” So, a fitting price point, then.
