Reminder: Nintendo has a bunch of official NES and SNES manuals available online

Useful for that SNES Switch Online crossover

Recommended Videos

With the dawn of the SNES Switch Online app, now seems like a good time to remind people that Nintendo has a bunch of official instructional manuals up on their site to use and peruse.

Although these NES and SNES archives are meant for the Classic Edition (Mini) hardware releases, there’s a lot of crossover, especially in regards to the recent SNES Switch Online rollout. You can find manuals for the newly minted Switch Online games Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Link to the Past, F-Zero, Super Metroid, Star Fox, Yoshi’s Island, Kirby’s Dream Course, and Super Ghouls’n Ghosts here.

It’s also a good barometer of what Nintendo is looking to add next. Right now Star Fox 2 is still exclusive to the SNES Classic; but the publisher could also reasonably add more timeless SNES games to the Switch Online suite that they already showcased, including Super Punch Out!!, Donkey Kong Country, and Kirby Super Star. Just know that they might not come as fast as you’d like.

NES | SNES [Nintendo] Thanks Rich!
