PSA: Pokemon players can pick up the legendary Shaymin this month

Thankfully no GameStop visit is needed

It’s Shaymin month!

The legendary 2016 Pokemon truck is still driving along that long and lonesome road, and as of today, July 1, you can pick up Shaymin for free. Just log into Pokemon X & Y and/or ORAS, and grab him as a gift in the US. This is not one of those pesky “GameStop card” events.

Next month however will be one of those walks of shame, when Arceus debuts on August 1. Then Victini, Keldeo, Genesect, and Meloetta will follow. Expect updates when those happen as well! I want to make sure everyone is primed and ready for when Sun & Moon hit.
