Earlier today I was talking to a friend about buying the Wii U version of 1001 Spikes, and he mentioned that he was going to pay for it with his Deluxe Money. In one fell swoop, I realized what he was talking about, and what I had been ignoring for over a year. The Wii U Deluxe promotion! I had $20 just sitting there.

For those who aren’t aware, Nintendo is running a promotion for Wii U Deluxe models where you get a portion of your digital purchases back as “points,” which can be redeemed for eShop cash once you earn enough for a $5 increment. All you have to do is log into the website here and see if you’re eligible to redeem your rewards.

I nonchalantly put the reminder on Twitter yesterday, and found tons of people messaging me that they had redeemed upwards of $30 or more. Check it out! The promotion is scheduled to run until mid-2015.
