Ghostrunner is a part of Prime Gaming October

Ghostrunner, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Alien: Isolation are free with Prime Gaming in October

10 games for Amazon Prime members to claim

Prime Gaming is stepping up its monthly free PC game selection for October. As much as I let these promos slip right past me, this is a group of games worth talking about, particularly the three headliners: Ghostrunner, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Alien: Isolation.

While Squadrons found its way into my library earlier this year through PlayStation Plus, and I’ve accumulated multiple copies of Alien: Isolation across different platforms in the time since its 2014 launch, I don’t have Ghostrunner yet, and I’d like to play it… eventually.

If you’re in a similar boat, check the Prime Gaming deals page starting October 1, and claim away. Or you could swoop in now to get Tools Up and the other September games.

The seven other games you’ll be able to claim in October with an Amazon Prime account:

  • Song of Horror Complete Edition
  • Red Wings: Aces of the Sky
  • Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures
  • Blue Fire
  • Tiny Robots Recharged
  • Whiskey & Zombies: The Great Southern Zombie Escape
  • Secret Files 3

Of these titles, the only one that really speaks to me is Blue Fire, though I haven’t played it. I only know about it because it’s a 3D platformer — about a trap-dodging, sword-clashing warrior in a “forgotten land”  — and my brain soaks up that genre more than anything.

Depending on your subscriptions and your willingness to play games wherever they might pop up next, we live in a heck of a time for “free” games.
