Prepare for more Titanfall: EA ‘continuing partnership with Respawn’

Who could’ve ever predicted this?

Hold onto your hats, folks. If you’re not wearing a hat, go put one on just so you can hold onto it. EA CEO Andrew Wilson revealed today that the publisher’s going to keep working with Respawn Entertainment.

According to a message on EA’s Twitter it’s “continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and Respawn … to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide.” Unfortunately, that statement is pretty ambiguous. Is it indication of a Titanfall sequel? Does it refer to more downloadable content?

Another Titanfall certainly isn’t a bad bet. EA stated that it sold 925,000 units on Xbox One and PC to round out the company’s quarter. These numbers didn’t include digital copies or Xbox 360 units of the game, or global sales. Regardless of sales figures, Titanfall isn’t an IP that’s designed to be “one and done.”
