Pokemon’s Mew anniversary event kicks off today

In case you haven’t heard, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are running a 20th anniversary celebration, complete with mythical ‘mon events. This month is Mew, which you can acquire by way of a serial code distribution. In the US, you can snag your code from GameStop; Canada and AU are EB Games; Europe is GAME, with the exception of Italy (GameStop) and Belgium (GameMania).

This whole shebang reminds me of all of this absurd Mew myths, most of which involve a truck in some way, shape, or form. I knew some dude who actually spent 20 hours trying to get one because someone told him he had to take a million steps around a specific area, haha.
