Persona Q2’s Ryuji Sakamoto is here to bemoan adults in new trailer

‘Oh Skull, you’re pathetic…’

It’s time for another trailer for Atlus’ upcoming sequel Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. It must have been at least ten minutes since the last one, so let’s see who is next to join the roster of the Nintendo 3DS adventure.

This turn, it’s The Phantom Thieves hot-headed sport star, Ryuji Sakamoto, ready to take on shitty adults and injustice wherever they raise their noggin. Ryuji is a pretty common character trope; the flustered, angry and somewhat dim-witted best friend who, regardless, will never ever let you down should the going get tough. He also appears to be joining fellow Persona 5 star Futaba Sakura in the “fangs for teeth” club.

Persona Q2 is the anticipated sequel to the 2014 release Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. The new release will see characters from multiple Persona games converge to battle monsters and dungeon-crawl through a new adventure, set within a movie-theatre surrounding.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth
launches in Japan on Nintendo 3DS November 29.
