Persona 4 Golden has exceeded 700,000 shipments worldwide, Atlus has announced. That total encapsulates digital sales in addition to physical orders placed by brick and mortar outlets.

Atlus is celebrating the milestone with a discount on the digital version via the PlayStation Store in Japan. The portable role-playing game will be marked down from 5,980 yen to 4,980 yen between December 11 and January 8.

The Asia (English language) version of Persona 4 Golden was honored with a “User’s Choice Award” at the PlayStation Awards in Tokyo today. Last year, the domestic release took home the same prize, marking impressive back-to-back wins for Atlus and the acclaimed title.
