Still in closed beta

The cat is out of the bag — Overwatch is coming on May 24, with an open beta period preceding its release on May 3. This is a pretty big launch for Blizzard, as it’s the studio’s first new IP in years, and on top of that, it’s a competitive shooter.

Earlier this week it updated the closed beta build, and it’s all good news for the game’s future. A new map, Illios (based on Greece) has been added, and looks lovely. Also there are a few tweaks, including aesthetic and mechanical changes that you can view here.
