Omega Five: Sensei gameplay video is full of yapping

Continuing with our groundbreaking coverage of flying old guys and their pets, here’s a trailer showing off some gameplay footage of Omega Five‘s unlockable character Sensei that we told you about earlier.

You can see some of his special attacks, but not shown is the dimensional field move, which allows you to quickly teleport to another dimension for a brief time to avoid enemy attacks, albeit at the expense of a small chunk of your lifebar. All characters in the game have this ability, but when Sensei pulls it off, he manages to deal some damage to whatever enemies are in range of the resulting shockwave. I guess you don’t get that until you’ve been with the company as long as he has.

Also on display are some of Rikimaru‘s targeting tricks, which will apparently be accompanied by lots of “ARF! ARF! ARF!” sounds whenever Sensei decides to sic him on an enemy. Kind of annoying and silly, but much like Bruce Willis in a toupee, “silly” doesn’t make it any less awesome.
