During tonight’s Summer Games Fest, we’ve begun to see a lot of heavy hitters as soon as the night began. A lot of cool games have already been revealed, including the Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake. Now, we have the first proper trailer for Alien Isolation 2, Creative Assembly’s long-awaited sequel to its most iconic horror title.
Though the trailer was pretty brief, we got to see some action on a hostile planet where storms seem incessant and brutal. The foliage is thoroughly alien, and the environment wholly unwelcoming, which is the perfect backdrop for an Alien game. Of course, we also got insight into dark corridors and creepy interior locations and caught a glimpse of the iconic monster that will certainly hunt us throughout the game.
The developers said on stage that more will be revealed in due time, and no release date or window has been provided as of yet. While we wait to see more, I urge you to tune into tonight’s Summer Games Fest, as it appears to be one of the most exciting to date.
