OFLC lists Castlevania: Harmony of Despair

Recommended Videos

The concept of a multiplayer-focused Castlevania game proved to be difficult for a lot of you to accept when rumors of Castlevania: Harmony of Despair started circulating. But, if the OFLC’s recent listing for the game is any indication — it totally is — then we have ourselves a very real game.

To catch everyone up to speed, it was rumored that six players would be tasked with taking down an individual boss on a shared map. A handful of screenshots accompanied this aforementioned talk, and made it clear this game would be comprised of recycled art assets from previous installments.

Lastly, it was said Harmony of Despair was an Xbox LIVE Arcade title, which seems to be on the level according to the Australian rating board. I for one am glad to see a willingness from Konami to experiment, and more than that, it’s just nice to see another console-bound Castlevania.
