Octopath Traveler gets release date, official name and collector’s edition

Summer is looking great

The absolutely incredible looking Octopath Traveler finally has a release date! On July 13, players will be able to get their hands on the spiritual successor to Bravely Default. Along with that, a collector’s edition of the game will be available at retail shops. It will come with the soundtrack, a map and a little diorama of some of the character sprites.

I’m definitely super excited for this one! That demo released last year got me hooked and I’ve been dying to find out more information about the game. While the trailer introduced us to two new characters, it still left quite a bit about the story a mystery. Thankfully we won’t have much longer to wait to get our hands on the final game.
