So I know that everyone reading this is a fan of Monty Python because if they weren’t they’d be dead from the stress of not being able to laugh at even the funniest things on earth, but did you all play the old Monty Python PC games? They were awesome and were basically a collection of mini-games wrapped in Monty Python references and humor. More of that would be awesome, and, according to a preview over at Rock, Paper, Shotgun, more of that is what we’re going to get when developer Zattikka launches the Facebook game Ministry of Silly Games.
Obviously the game is geared towards the casual market, but it is said to be a free-to-play semi-multiplayer RPG minigame collection in which you design a character, complete quests to earn points so that you can play games to earn points so that you can complete more tasks to earn more points. Basically a Facebook game, but with the humor of Monty Python and new and old artwork from Terry Gilliam.
A closed beta launched recently and you can apply to be involved in it here. The full game should come out some time next year.
