Monster Hunter is making me long for more Ghosts ‘n Goblins

This crossover is better than nothing

Some of the video game tie-ins for Monster Hunter, while cool, have served as bitter reminders that we aren’t getting another, say, Okami. Or that Capcom isn’t giving Mega Man the love it deserves. That’s kind of how I feel about this Felyne armor and lance based on Arthur from Ghosts ‘n Goblins.

Miss-matched facial hair aside, the garb fits fairly well in Monster Hunter Generations, but I’m mostly left thinking about how great it would be to see a new Ghosts ‘n Goblins game for consoles. And going one step further, another Maximo could also hit the spot. But now I’m just daydreaming.

This gif makes me happy, though. Very happy.
