Mistover will cease to exist on all platforms this month

Mistover

Well how’s that for short notice

In case you have Mistover on your wishlist somewhere, you should probably know that the game is going away for good fairly soon.

Here’s the full statement from the game’s official site:

“To everyone who has shown their love and support for Mistover, we regretfully inform you with a heavy heart that the service will be closing as our journey comes to an end. We first launched Mistover on October 10th, 2019, and we made the difficult decision to close the service for this much-loved game effective June 30th, 2022. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has used our services and would like to ask for your generous understanding.”

So how is this going down? Well, all platforms are impacted, including PC (Steam, GOG), PS4, Switch, and Xbox.  The end date is June 30, 2022, at which point it’ll be deleted from those storefronts. The company stress that “even after the game no longer becomes available, customers who have already purchased the game will be able to download it.”

While the above site doesn’t give an exact reason, the Japanese Arc System Works site (who published the game) states that it is “due to the expiration of the sales license agreement with Krafton,” the developer.
