Looks like Unreal Tournament is in capable hands

You can play a free pre-alpha build now

The new Unreal Tournament is going to look gorgeous once Epic and the community are finished working on it. Last I saw of the project, it had only just become “a game,” and now here it is making real good use of Unreal Engine 4. According to Epic, the map shown in this video, Outpost 23, “sets our visual bar for where we would like to see Unreal Tournament continue moving forward.”

You can download a pre-alpha build of the game (or simply follow its continued development) over here. It takes a certain type of person to be interested enough to want to do that, and I imagine said person is fully capable of destroying me in UT, so I’m going to pass for the time being.
