It’s been some time since Respawn first started talking about Live Fire, its pilot-only six-on-six mode, but I have to commend today’s release date announcement relative to the release itself.
The free update drops tomorrow, February 23 with “two mode-specific Live Fire maps [Stacks and Meadows], Featured Playlists, a new execution, an additional Coliseum map, mixtape-style matchmaking, balance patches, and more.” As a bonus, there’s going to be double XP from Thursday through Monday, but it only applies to Live Fire mode. That should keep the playlist popping.
Good time to get back in (or maybe you never even left in the first place?).
