Japanese grass-cutting game hits the 3DS this month

The green grass grows all around, all around

If you’ve ever found yourself wasting hours of the day simply cutting grass across the fields of Hyrule, it’s time to put those lawn mowing skills to use in The Legend of Kusakari.

Drawing inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Kusakari stars Shiba Kari as a lowly grass cutter who must keep the fields clear so brave heroes can focus on defeating the Demon King. The adventure-puzzle game hits the 3DS eShop in a few weeks and features 50 levels throughout its 10-hour quest, an endless mode with online leaderboards, and an almanac of all the different types of grass and weeds you cut. Try not to get too excited at that last tidbit.

The Legend of Kusakari launches August 25 in the US, EU, UK, Australia and New Zealand for just $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99 / AUS$6.99 / NZ$7.99.
