Japan is getting a Vita ‘Starter Kit’ bundle

Out next month

Sony is going to be releasing a “Vita Starter Kit” bundle in Japan, where the portable is actually doing alright. It’ll launch on March 3, and will run people 19,980 yen (roughly $175).

It includes a 16GB memory card (not enough), a power cord, AC adapter, USB cable, and of course, a Wi-Fi enabled Vita. Man, the memory card situation is so unfortunate — a 64GB card will still run you upwards of $90 or more years later on average. Sony, what were you thinking? I love the Vita, but they were responsible for its demise.

I have prepared a “Starter Kit” for the Vita’s upcoming future below.
