The 40-minute PlayStation event begins at 1:00 p.m. Pacific

It’s time to learn how much the two PS5 models are going to cost, when they’re releasing, and what the wider “here’s why you gotta upgrade” game lineup looks like this holiday season and beyond.

Today’s live-streamed PlayStation 5 Showcase has to be the moment for these elusive details… right? Sony can’t wait any longer, don’t you think? In truth, I’m willing to believe anything this year.

The 40-minute show starts at 1:00 p.m. Pacific and it’s expected to last “around 40 minutes.”

With the Xbox Series X coming in at $499 and the Xbox Series S going low at $299, I’m curious to see where Sony will land – especially with the (cheaper) all-digital PS5 model. My budget is malleable.
