Well, they got the weather right

Ubisoft’s tactical-military shooter Rainbow Six Siege has started to tease details of its next season, bringing with it new Operators and the first “Map Rework”, a ongoing commitment by Ubisoft Montreal by change the balance of certain stage in the uber-popular online game.

It seems apparent from the artwork and other factors that Operation Grim Sky will be set in Britain. Which is also hinted by one of the event’s new operators; a Defender who actually happens to hail from Blighty. They will be joined by a new Attacker, who crosses the pond from the good ol’ U.S of A. No names or skills have been revealed for either Operator.

In keeping with the British theme, the first map chosen for rework is Hereford Base, a training facility from the original Tom Clancy Rainbow Six novels. Hereford base will be rebalanced, much like you would a character, removing troubling spots on the map while also redesigning the architecture to provide new options for all of your wall-smashing strategies.

Full details on Operation Grim Sky will be revealed at the Six Paris Major, which takes place in France on August 17-19. Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
