Iron Banner returns to Destiny next week

Bungie has announced that Iron Banner, a week long PVP event, will return again to Destiny. It kicks off on February 23 at 10AM PT, and will end at the usual reset time of March 1, 1:00AM PT.

This time the mode is Clash, and the rewards include snipers and rocket launchers, as well as new armor types, and PlayStation exclusive gear. The new matchmaking system that favors the quality of your connection over skill “might” be deployed during this time. Bungie notes that this may involve “fiercer competition,” also known as blowouts because they haven’t figured out a way to balance both parameters yet.

The 320 Crimson Days Ghost reward hasn’t arrived yet, but it’s supposed to come sometime before February 23, so there’s a little time for that.
