Last week, Infinity Ward held a Livestream to officially reveal Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s multiplayer. While it accomplished showing off the mode, it was riddled with some ridiculous commentary of players screaming like idiots over the gameplay. At the behest of fans wishing to watch the footage without the terrible chatting, some raw 4K gameplay is now available for your viewing pleasure. It definitely looks much better now that we’re free of incessant screeching.

Captured from a PS4 Pro running in 4K, the footage shows off the new “Gunfight” game mode. I don’t know if I’d call it completely original, but it shows a mode similar to Counter-Strike in that you’ve given a single life in each round. You have to make your shots count, which lends more tension to each round. This isn’t the same zippy, fast-paced action affair from Call of Duty’s past.

As for what else is to come in Modern Warfare, a larger multiplayer reveal will be happening in two weeks on Thursday, August 1. We’ll likely get the full suite of modes and options for when the game lands in October.
