iam8bit’s Street Fighter exhibit will grace your village

And it won’t just be held on a Tuesday!

From August 3 through 19, the iam8bit gallery in Los Angeles will play host to Combo Attack, a celebration of 25 years of the world’s premier fighting game franchise. Over 50 artists will have pieces on display, ranging in styles from oil paintings to b*tchin’ sprite art, like Aled Lewis‘ “World Domination” above.

Speaking of Aled Lewis, isn’t that Bison picture pure hotness? He’ll have a bunch of sprite works at the show, including a pretty funny button-mashing E. Honda number, and there ought to be prints of all his goodies for sale. The other artists’ pieces are pretty spiffy as well. Check out the sampler in the gallery.

Anyone planning on swinging by?
