Breath of the Wild treasure

I totally missed this annoying Zelda: Breath of the Wild treasure chest

‘OK I think I got it…nope!’

Frame-perfect puzzles are so hit and miss! Sometimes they can be exhilarating if done correctly, and the reward is appropriately scaled. Sometimes…they’re annoying. I think this Zelda: Breath of the Wild treasure chest is planted firmly in the latter category.

Shared on Reddit by Mental-Street6665 as “I think I have definitively found what must be the most BS treasure chest in the whole game,” it’s safe to say that it’s not as hyperbolic as it sounds [this is the DLC dungeon]. As one of the many stasis puzzles, all it requires is timing. And like many stasis puzzles, if that timing is even slightly off, you have to wait to try again. And again. And again.

So what does this Breath of the Wild treasure chest contain in this particular run? A Gerudo Shield. For all that?! And beautifully, the creator can’t even pick up their spoils due to a full inventory, and is slammed back to reality when the wheel goes back in motion. What a perfect ending. We’ve all been in that same state of shock, standing still in disbelief.

Folks are taking to sharing their own war stories for annoying Breath of the Wild treasure chests, including the rope-chest in Divine Beast Vah Naboris (which you have to warp to reset).
