Bad news for monster hunters on PlayStation 4. The Evolve Big Alpha event has been postponed. The good news is that now your weekend is suddenly free again.
Turtle Rock Studios posted an update on the Evolve site today announcing the unfortunate situation. It seems as though the recent PS4 2.00 firmware update caused issues that the developers can’t rectify speedily. Bummer.
However, Turtle Rock called it a postponement and not a cancellation, indicating that there’s a good chance that an open playtesting will eventually happen on PS4. For Xbox One and PC players, the alpha’s going as planned, which PS4 players probably won’t take much solace in.
