Batman’s brought quite a bit of his gear to the Fortnite island for the Hot Bat Summer event. One of the many items you can find is Batman’s Beach Buggy, which you’re tasked with taking a joyride in.
This vehicle is one of the best rides you can find and use around the island, so regardless of whether you’re seeking it out for a quest, it’s certainly worth trying out. It can be fairly difficult to track down, though, so here’s how to take a joyride in Batman’s Beach Buggy in Fortnite.

Batman’s Beach Buggy location in Fortnite
Batman’s Beach Buggy doesn’t have one fixed spawn location around the Fortnite island. Instead, it has several possible spawn spots where it can appear, and it will choose to pop up at a few of them in each round.
It functions similarly to other rare spawns, like Sprite Chests or vehicles, which means you may see it at a particular location in one round, but it likely won’t be there again in the next one. Generally, luck and random chance determine how easy or difficult this vehicle is to find.
Here are all of the locations where we’ve encountered Batman’s Beach Buggy.
- In the middle of the Batcave, right on the Batman logo in the center of the entrance area.
- Near the northeast corner of the Frosted Flats POI, parked on the road.
- West of Sinister Strip in a small parking lot located next to one of the Dark Voyager’s black and orange buildings.
Batman’s Beach Buggy may have other spawn spots around the island, but so far, we haven’t been able to find it anywhere else. We’ll keep hunting for it, though, and add any other locations where we spot it here.
Take a joyride in Batman’s Beach Buggy in Fortnite
To complete the take a joyride in Batman’s Beach Buggy quest for the Hot Bat Summer event, you simply need to hop inside this vehicle once. As soon as you do, the mission will be marked as complete, regardless of whether you actually drive around or not, thus officially getting you one step closer to acquiring a Batman Sprite.
How to use Batman’s Beach Buggy in Fortnite
For the most part, Batman’s Beach Buggy functions the same as any regular car. The exact controls you can use for it vary by platform, but are always displayed near the bottom left corner of the screen while driving.
The big difference between this car and others is that it’s able to fly. When you boost off of cliffs, mountains, or other high-up spots, wings will deploy from the side, allowing you to soar through the air for a brief period of time.
There’s plenty more to tackle around the island, especially now that you have a new way to get around quickly. If you’re unsure what to do, consider working on finding a Grim Reaper Sprite, taking your car through the car wash to make a good impression, and completing Lost and Found quests.
