Underground storage bay location in Fortnite
The underground storage bay can be found near the east end of The Battlewoods. This main, named POI, is marked on the map and can be found near the upper north end of the island.
Once you’re at The Battlewoods, make your way east until you spot a large grey, white, and orange warehouse-looking building. Then, head inside and go downstairs. Here, you’ll find a secret door you can open.

To complete the quest, you need to visit and open the secret storage room at The Battlewoods, then grab an item from inside for Slone. It’s a fairly tricky process, so here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.
- Gather 500 gold. Before fully diving into this mission, it’s a good idea to start by gathering 500 gold bars. You need this much to open the storage bay, so there’s no point in visiting it until you have the required amount. Open chests and cash registers, or take out enemy players to stock up on this resource.
- Travel to The Battlewoods. Once you’ve secured the funds needed to open the door, make your way over to The Battlewoods. You can find this POI near the north end of the island, south of Lift Lodge and east of Chopped Shop.
- Find the warehouse. There are lots of buildings at The Battlewoods, but only one that’s hiding the storage unit. Head east in this area to find the warehouse building you need to investigate. Once you’re inside, head downstairs.
- Pay to open the door. Look at the red button on the right side of the door, then hold down the button that appears next to the “Mystery Door (500 gold)” message. As soon as you do, 500 gold will be spent from your pool, and the door will unlock.
- Grab Slone’s gear. Once the door to the underground bay is unlocked, you’ll see a small item on the ground marked with a white diamond exclamation point icon. Walk up to it to grab Slone’s gear for her, thus officially finishing this mission.
There are plenty of other tricky missions worth tackling around the island after checking off this one.
