If you’re playing Valheim 1.0, chances are that you have already come across Liquid Frost. This is one of the most important resources but you can’t directly find it anywhere on the map. Instead you’ll need to produce it with the correct ingredients before you can use it.

In this guide, I will discuss how to make Liquid Frost and then use them.

How to make Liquid Frost in Valheim

To make Liquid Frost, you’ll need to make yourself a Frigid Kiln. If you’re just getting started, you’ll have to make your way to the Deep North biome. From there, you’ll have to get 10 Frost Cores, and other materials like Stone and Ice.

Once you build a Frigid Kiln, you have to collect and place Ice inside it. Ice is freely available in the Deep North biome. Place the Ice inside the Frigid Kiln, and it will convert the resource into Liquid Frost. You’ll get 5 Liquid Frost for every 25 Ice.

As always, you can also use a console command to create the resource. That will take the fun away but if you’re desperate, you can resort to that method.

How to use Liquid Frost in Valheim

Valheim 1.0 update has added plenty of new crafting stations with the Frost Foundry being one of them. Once you get Liquid Frost, you can then use it as fuel to run the Frost Foundry. The crafting station can be then used to produce a wide variety of resources that have different uses.

Since there are plenty of things to craft, you’ll always want to have a steady supply Liquid Frost available at your base (and a steady supply of Ice for that matter).
