How to get to Shadowmoon Burial Grounds in WoW Dragonflight

Remember the Draenor expansion? It’s back! In Mythic form

Warlords of Draenor may be a maligned expansion with hindsight, but it had its moments. It’s also occasionally a blast from the past via Mythic dungeons, which is the case in the Dragonflight expansion. If you need to get there to the Shadowmoon Burial Grounds to start a Mythic dungeon run, we have you covered.

Where is the entrance to Shadowmoon Burial Grounds?

You can find the Shadowmoon Burial Grounds dungeon in Shadowmoon Valley, which is in Draenor, from the Warlords of Draenor expansion. The exact location can be found in the map above at coordinates 32, 43 in Shadowmoon Valley.

You can get there through several methods.

Use your Garrison Hearthstone

One easy path forward is to use your Garrison Hearthstone, which will take you to your garrison in Draenor. From there, you can simply fly to the nearest flight path (Akeeta’s Hovel) and walk into Shadowmoon Burial Grounds.

If you haven’t already, we recommend going through the motions and picking up this unique Hearthstone at some point; as it’s a valuable tool for getting back to the expansion, and a “connecting flight” for some locations, past, present, and future.

Use the portal to Draenor in Valdrakken

Head to the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken, which will have a portal to Shadowmoon Valley. The coordinates are 53.5, 55, and the portal is outside, at the base of the steps.

Once you’re in you’ll find yourself in Arbor Glen, near the center of the Shadowmoon Valley zone. Just fly slightly northwest to the Anguish Fortress, and you’ll see the entrance to Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. You can find a full guide for getting to Valdrakken here, as well as a full visual guide for the portal above.
