In Resident Evil 4 Remake, the Plagas has turned rural Spain into a treacherous landscape, and Leon has to claw through monsters and crazed villagers to save the president’s daughter. Although he starts off with just a pistol, he gains access to several more guns which he uses against frightening foes.

Collecting all the weapons is fun, and gamers who do so are rewarded with the Gun Fanatic Trophy/Achievement. Players wondering how to get the Gun Fanatic Trophy/Achievement in Resident Evil 4 Remake may be disappointed to discover that it’s impossible to earn it in a single playthrough, though Leon’s journey is one worth experiencing more than once.

What is the Gun Fanatic Trophy/Achievement in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

To earn this achievement, players need to unlock every weapon in the base game. This includes guns, knives, and grenades. There are 29 weapons to be collected, and some of them are a bit tricky to unlock, which means gamers will need a couple of playthroughs before they have them all. There are some weapons that are only available via DLC, though these weapons are fortunately not required to complete the Gun Fanatic challenge. Lastly, players don’t have to own all the weapons at once. They simply need to have owned all the guns at one point.
