There are many unique skins you can unlock in Fortnite Treasure Hunters. One of the toughest ones to get your hands on is Captain X, a battle pass Outfit that requires quite a bit of progression to obtain.
This style will only be around and available to earn through quests in this season, so if you’re interested in adding it to your collection, you’ve got to get to work on it fast. Since Treasure Hunters is a mini-season, you’ve got quite a limited amount of time to work on it, so here’s how to get Captain X and all of his rewards in Fortnite.

How to get Captain X in Fortnite
Captain X is the grand prize in the Captain X rewards series, which means you must fully work through this special set of missions to earn him. To progress in this series, you need to complete varying amounts of weekly tasks. A total of 24 weekly quests must be finished to unlock him.
While there are lots of free rewards up for grabs this season, like Solid Gold A$AP Rocky and other rewards in the Pirate Chest, Captain X is not one of them. He is a battle pass-only outfit, which means you must have this pass unlocked to progress toward earning him.
Captain X also cannot be unlocked early on in the season, as there aren’t enough missions available to complete for him. He won’t be obtainable until Nov. 21, close to the very end of Treasure Hunters.
To ensure you’re able to get him, though, you’ll want to keep on top of completing as many weekly quests as possible leading up to his unlock date. Fresh missions are added every week, and checking off as many of them as possible will ensure you’re able to unlock Captain X and all of his associated prizes as soon as it’s possible to do so.
