Sea Turtle favorite food in Disney Dreamlight Valley
All Sea Turtles’ favorite food is plain Seaweed in DDV. They also like any type of Seafood, but whenever a quest specifically asks you to feed them their favorite food, only Seaweed counts. Red Algae is caught from the ocean in the same way and is visually fairly similar to Seaweed, but this item isn’t loved by Sea Turtles either, so avoid feeding it to them.

To successfully check off a task that asks you to feed Sea Turtles their favorite food, approach one and give it Seaweed. No other item counts for this mission when you come across it on the Dreamlight Duty page or for a Star Path event task.
How to feed Sea Turtles in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Sea Turtles require patience for feeding. To get the feeding option to pop up, walk up to a Sea Turtle and stand completely still while it retreats into its shell. Wait until it pops its head back out, at which point the option to interact and feed this Critter will be available. Staying completely still until the Sea Turtle trusts you is essential, so if you move at any point, you’ll have to start over.
Where to find Sea Turtles in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can find Sea Turtles wandering around the Dazzle Beach area. All versions of this Critter can only be found here. They can be a bit tough to find, as they may stick to just the land area or instead wander around the water where they’re not always easy to see, so be sure to fully check all areas within this region to find them.
