Honkai Star RailĀ Auto-Battle lets you fight enemies fast and grind for credits and materials. You only need one input for the battle to start moving quickly. However, keep in mind that you need the right team formation to win almost every time. With that being said, here’s how to enable Honkai Star RailĀ auto-battle.

How to unlock Auto-Battle in Honkai Star Rail

To unlock this feature in Honkai Star Rail,Ā you will need to proceed through the story. It’s relatively early, however, as it comes available to you shortly after meeting Herta at the Space Station. When you finish the first Simulated Universe mission, you can proceed through the game with Auto-Battle on.

To begin theĀ auto-battle functionality, you’ll need to begin fighting and then glance at the top right of your screen. You’ll see a symbol that looks like a sand timer on its side. It’s the second emblem on that section of the U.I. Click it, and the auto-battle process will begin. Unfortunately, you have to click on it every time to activate the auto-battle system.

If you still want to play the game but you’re fed up with the pre-attack cutscenes, you can quicken the pace. The fast forward symbol with two triangles to the right can get your characters to move to 2x speed. Keep in mind that special battles like bosses won’t let you play the game at 2x speed.

Make sure that you have a balanced team before turning auto-battle on, however. Having a squad with offensive and defensive abilities will be useful. For example, March 7th can protect allies from devastating attacks while the main protagonist wipes out enemies with his baseball bat. Others can actually heal the squad’s wounds. You also might want to set “Cast Ultimate During Auto-Battle Mode” to On in the Options menu.
