How to earn 10,000 Dosh fast in Fantasy Life i

There are some sneaky ways to get it done quickly.

One of the first big quests you come across in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time tasks you with farming a massive amount of currency. You need 10,000 Dosh to be exact, and this amount is quite a lot considering you’ve just crash-landed on an island with nothing.

Your dragon is locked down until you gather and repay this amount of Dosh to Auntie Anne, so if you want to get back home and search for Edward, getting this task done quickly is a must. Here’s how to earn 10,000 Dosh fast in Fantasy Life i.

There are many ways to quickly earn Dosh in the game, but by far the easiest one is to switch Lives over and over until you have enough. Each time you join a new Life and complete or skip through the tutorial quest, you get 1,000 Dosh for your efforts.

By the time you get Auntie Anne’s Dosh quest, you should already have a decent amount of Dosh earned from playing other story quests. This means you don’t have to switch Lives too often, and you’ll be well on your way to earning the full amount in no time.

This method is also quite useful since you eventually need to learn how to play all Lives anyway. Each one unlocks new gameplay mechanics like mining, crafting, and fighting, so the sooner you learn the basics, the more there is for you to do around the island.

If you don’t feel like switching Lives over and over, the next best option is to tackle requests from characters around the island. As you explore, you’ll randomly find individuals deep in thought with a bubble over their head. You can chat with them to see what they need and offer to help if you can fulfill their request. Some quests are tougher than others, so if you aren’t up for one, you can refuse and search for a different one.

A good request to get done for this quest is Ranoah’s Treasure. Most requests only offer a few hundred Dosh, but since this one is from the king himself, you get a whopping 3,000 Dosh for completing it. You can start this quest by visiting the king at his throne near the very north end of the Capitol of Mysteria.

Other methods for farming Dosh include selling items you don’t need, beating enemies to sell what they drop, and finishing side quests. None of these methods is quite as rewarding as the previously mentioned tactics, though, so if you’re seeking 10,000 Dosh quickly, it’s best to stick with the other ways of earning it.

What happens to the 10,000 Dosh you give Auntie Anne in Fantasy Life i?

When you finally have enough to pay Aunite Anne back, she actually tells you to keep the 10,000 Dosh you earned for yourself. She never wanted the money and always intended for you to have it. Her goal is to set you up for success with all your future endeavors.

There’s plenty more to do around the island now that you’ve completed this task and have quite a lot of money to work with. Next, you might work on gathering some essential items like Dandelion Cotton, Chicken Eggs, and Healweed.
