Shadow creeping into the hideout
The all-new Season 3 in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has introduced several exciting additions to the game. The newly added Redacted Faction and some notable changes like the Barter System have made the gameplay more challenging yet enjoyable. One of the missions that the Redacted Faction offers is “Left High and Dry”, which is the last Tier 2 mission for this faction. Completing this mission unlocks the next tier for the faction.
The Left High and Dry mission is composed of three objectives that require careful planning and execution. The first objective is to acquire a Skeleton Key, which can be obtained by trading in Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, or Building 21. Once you have the key, you need to use it to unlock the Sniper Team’s Hideout located in Akhdar Village. Finally, you must extract the Dossier found inside the hideout to complete the mission.
Completing the Left High and Dry mission not only unlocks the next tier for the faction but also rewards you with additional in-game bonuses. So let’s begin without any further delay.
Trade for a Skeleton Key
To complete the first objective of the mission, you need to acquire a Skeleton Key using the newly introduced Barter System. This can be accomplished on any of the three maps — Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, or Building 21. However, the barter recipes for Skeleton Key vary depending on the map.
On Al Mazrah, you can trade one GPU for the Skeleton Key. However, GPUs are rare and valuable items, so they can be extremely difficult to find. On Ashika Island, you need to trade one Videocassette Tape, one Vintage Wine, and one Encrypted Hard Drive. As you’ll need to acquire three distinct items, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to find them all in one location. On Building 21, you need to trade three Encrypted Hard Drives for the key. While Encrypted Hard Drives are easier to find, the map is only available to play on weekends.
So just choose the method that best suits your gameplay and preference to obtain the key. Once you have it, you can proceed to the next step of the mission.
Unlock the Sniper Team’s Hideout and extract the Dossier found inside
Having obtained the Skeleton Key on one of the three maps, you have completed the most challenging task of the mission. Now, the next objective is to use the key to unlock the Sniper Team’s Hideout in Akhdar Village and extract the Dossier. The location of the hideout is indicated on the map.
To access the hideout, you’ll need to climb up to the roof of the building where the hideout is situated. You can find a ladder to reach the roof, and from there, you’ll see a locked door which is the entrance to the hideout. Unlock the door using the Skeleton Key you acquired and proceed inside. The Dossier will be located on a table inside the hideout. Retrieve it and pack it into your backpack. Your final task is to exfiltrate from the area with the Dossier to successfully complete the Left High and Dry mission.
