Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Trick-or-Treat event is a massive annual festivity, with loads to get done throughout to earn all kinds of exclusive rewards. One of the many missions you’ll face in this event is the A 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty.
The tough part of this event is that all the quests included in it give you no guidance outside of the name for each one. It’s all up to you to figure out what’s being asked of you, so if this one has you stumped, here’s how to complete A 3-Course Halloween Meal! in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

A 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty for the Trick-or-Treat event in DDV, you need to eat all three types of event Candy featured in this event. This includes Green Candy, Purple Candy, and Red Candy.
There are a couple of different ways you can earn event Candy for Trick-or-Treat:
- Find and open Halloween Buckets. For the duration of the event, you can find sparkling green, orange, and purple buckets around the Plaza biome. The green ones give you Green Candy, the orange ones give you Red Candy, and the purple ones give you Purple Candy. Carefully scour the Plaza biome consistently to stock up on Candy you can consume for the 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty.
- Go Trick-or-Treating. You can also earn Candy by visiting participating villager homes to go Trick-or-Treating. Each day, six villagers offer some Candy for you to collect if you stop by and interact with the jack-o’-lantern in front of their home. The characters you can visit are Mickey Mouse, Wall-E, Daisy, Stitch, Mike Wazowski, and Jack Skellington.
Once you have one of each type of event Candy, open your inventory and click on each one to eat them. As soon as you’ve consumed all three, the A 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty will officially be marked as complete, allowing you to claim your prize.

A 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Successfully finishing the A 3-Course Halloween Meal! duty unlocks the Green Trick-or-Treater’s Bounty item as a reward. This is a placeable, furniture version of the green Candy Bucket you can open for Green Candy in the Plaza region.
You’re now one step closer to fully finishing the Trick-or-Treat event in DDV. There’s still plenty more work to get done though, so be sure to continue working through key event tasks after this one. If you’re unsure what to tackle next, some good ones to get done are Scarily Sweet, the Haunted Well puzzle, Sweet ‘n’ Scary, and Sugar Rush.
