When I first started playing Call of Duty way back in 2007, your K/D ratio was what told everyone how good you were at the game. I remember plenty of conversations at school where people would get absolutely roasted for being under a 1.00.

While it’s not talked about as much anymore, it’s still handy to know how you’re performing in the game, and if you want to check it, I can tell you how.

K/D ratio in MW3 explained

Your Kill/Death ratio is used to show how many kills you get compared to your deaths. For example, if you got 20 kills and 20 deaths in a match, your K/D ratio would be 1.00, because for every kill you got, you also died.

If you got 20 kills but 10 deaths, your K/D ratio would be 2.00, and if you got 10 kills and 20 deaths, your K/D ratio would be 0.50.
