While exploring the Wind Shrine in Final Fantasy Resonance, players can get a massive amount of MRP at zero risk by defeating the Viridian Pot found to the right of its second save point.
The catch? Like the Citrine Pot you can meet on Siren’s Tower, it cannot be defeated by conventional means. Here’s how to beat the Viridian Pot in Final Fantasy Resonance.

How to beat the Viridian Pot in Final Fantasy Resonance
You can beat the Viridian Pot in Final Fantasy Resonance by throwing a Mist Ether at it and fulfilling its demand. No other type of item will suffice, so just reload your last save if you started the encounter while unprepared. It is also not possible to overwhelm the enemy with might, as it will heal itself, have 99.999 HP, and halve all DMG taken, even if heavily underleveled when compared to the party.

Upon being defeated at Expert difficulty, the Viridian Pot will reward the party with 240 Gil, 324 EXP, and 300 MRP. If you are lucky, the fight might also net you 1x Elixir. Those playing at lower difficulties can change their setting and get the increased rewards by heading to Options, Difficulty.
A second Viridian Pot can then be encountered at the Water Shrine during Chapter 3, Wardens of the Aquapolis. Just don’t forget, you will only have one chance at defeating it as well.

How to get Mist Ether locations in Final Fantasy Resonance
Although only available as a map find in Chapter 1, you can actually get a large amount of Mist Ether in FF Resonance before reaching the Wind Shrine. How? By purchasing it from the general store on either Dilmagia, the Machinopolis, or the Dwarven Forge. The item can also be found at the shops on Olderion, Rebel Hideout, Town of Amore, Mozul Station, Capital Station, Mysidia, or at the Airship. In all locations, it will cost 2.500 Gill.

If you are low on funds, those who purchased the game before November 5, 2026 on all platforms can also get one extra Mist Ether (plus a Blessed Cuirass) via its Squire Kickstart Pack. To claim yours, head to the postbox in the Town of Mitra.
With both Viridian Pots taken care of, don’t forget to also take a look at which of the game’s Visions excel the most in our Final Fantasy Resonance Vision tier list. Trust me, if you are a FF VII fan, you will be more than happy with the placings.
