In EA Sports College Football 25 Dynasty Mode, leading a world-class program will not be easy, and the Build Your Coach mode emphasizes how things work in real life.

As a coach, you’ll be in charge of building and coaching the football team of your chosen high school. There won’t be any perfect coach, and you won’t be able to be good at everything. This is where balancing your act and juggling the different responsibilities come in. At the end of the day, your success as a coach will define how good (or bad) your team performs on the pitch.

Every match you play (or manage) will help you earn XP points by completing different goals. There will be four goal categories available, and their XP will also differ. As you earn more points, you’ll be able to level up your coach to a level of up to 50.

There will be a total of 11 different archetypes available, and they determine what kind of a coach you are. As mentioned in tonight’s trailer, there’s no single coach who knows it all. All coaches will have a base archetype and then begin the act of levelling up.

The path you choose depends on the type of coach you want to become – become a specialist in a key area or remain a hybrid who is a Jack of all trades. All archetypes are upgradeable, and they have certain objectives that become available once you purchase a certain type. Once you purchase an archetype with coach points, you’ll have different coaching abilities.

There will be more than 50 different abilities, each with four tiers. All the abilities will have different effects based on what they’re meant to do. Some abilities will also affect the core gameplay.

Just like in real life, you’ll get to sign contracts with different schools, and there’s no compulsion to stay in a single place. Sometimes, you might have to move without choice, as a set of poor performances will lead to your dismissal. While the onus is on to win, make sure to stay focused on all your contractual goals to achieve success on the personal front.

Finally, there’s the Coaching Carousel in EA Sports College Football 25 Dynasty Mode. The Coaching Carousel allows you to move voluntarily to a new destination (based on whether there’s any interest in your service). As a coach, recruiting your players will be one of the most important tasks, but that’s a story for another day.
