Hiku Osu: Cute 3DS puzzle platformer from Fire Emblem dev

Recommended Videos

I’m really digging the gameplay footage from upcoming Japanese 3DS puzzle platformer Hiku Osu. It comes from Intelligent Systems, the folks that make the delicious Fire Emblem games. Siliconera says that Hiku Osu is coming to the Nintendo eShop on October 5, for 700 yen.

As you can see in the above footage, Hiku Osu is all about pulling or pushing groups of blocks to create platforms. You move platforms to work toward a goal. There’s supposed to be 250 stages in all, but there will also be a feature that lets users create their own stages. There’s even some Nintendo-themed stages in the mix.

Also, as you’ll hear, it also has killer retro-ish music and sound effects. Sold!

I hope Hiku Osu comes stateside so all puzzle platforming fans can enjoy it.
